About the Role We are looking for an Head of Academics with a strong background in educational leadership and innovation, capable of driving academic excellence and ensuring a tailored learning experience for every student. Responsibilities • Oversee and adapt the American curriculum to maintain high quality education aligned with international standards. • Implement Mastery Learning, fostering deep, mastery based knowledge acquisition in all subjects. • Apply the Qualia Based Learning approach, promoting creativity, curiosity, and hands on experimentation. • Lead, train, and motivate the teaching staff, ensuring continuous professional development and effective implementation of innovative methodologies. • Integrate soft skills development into the curriculum, emphasizing resilience, leadership, and communication. • Enforce protocols such as Firewall Protocol® to maintain a safe and bullying free environment. • Design assessment systems focused on individual progress, competency based learning, and metacognition. • Foster strong relationships with families and the school community, encouraging active collaboration.

Requisitos

Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Pedagogy, Educational Psychology, or a related field. A Master’s in Educational Leadership is a plus. • Over 5 years of experience in academic leadership roles within international schools. • Deep understanding of the American curriculum and innovative teaching methodologies. • C2 level of English. • Strong leadership, change management, teamwork, and communication skills.
